Il corpo estetico - The aesthetic body

La bellissima frase citata poco sopra l'ho trovata nel web ed è attribuita a Friedrich Nietzsche, anche se dubito che il termine "standard" rientrasse nel lessico di Nietzche! Comunque sia, il concetto è molto veritiero e si addice alla perfezione per descrivere il pensiero morale umano in molti ambiti, compreso quello relativo alla nudità del corpo. Se ho un bel fisico, corrispondente ai canoni estetici proposti dalla società, il nudo diventa arte, fascino e seduzione, al limite arte erotica, ma se il mio fisico non corrisponde a tali canoni estetici, allora la mia nudità diventa volgare, squallida e genera imbarazzo! D'altronde gli angeli sono tutti belli, con gli occhi azzurri ed i capelli biondi, mentre i demoni sono tutti brutti e sporchi.

In questo modo il corpo è svuotato e privato di tutti i suoi significati più sublimi, spirituali e naturali.

Che tristezza l'opinione della maggioranza: è la dittatura della democrazia. Non importa la spiritualità, la sensibilità o l'intelligenza, detta legge chi è in maggior numero, indipendentemente dalla validità dei suoi valori. Ma stò entrando in un campo minato, pertanto mi fermo qui.

Non seguo i dettami della maggioranza, non mi interessano per mia fortuna e salute, e mi godo in santa pace la mia nudità, la mia armonia e la mia naturalezza, anche se può apparire sgradevole, inopportuna o amorale.

In any case, the concept is very true and perfectly describes human moral thinking in many areas, including that relating to bodily nudity. If I have a beautiful body, corresponding to the aesthetic standards proposed by society, nudity becomes art, allure, and seduction, even erotic art. But if my body does not correspond to these aesthetic standards, then my nudity becomes vulgar, squalid, and embarrassing! After all, angels are all beautiful, with blue eyes and blond hair, while demons are all ugly and dirty.

In this way, the body is emptied and stripped of all its most sublime, spiritual, and natural meanings.

How sad the majority opinion is: it's the dictatorship of democracy. Spirituality, sensitivity, or intelligence don't matter; the law is dictated by those in the majority, regardless of the validity of their values. But I'm entering a minefield, so I'll stop here.

I don't follow the dictates of the majority; they don't concern me with my own well-being or health, and I peacefully enjoy my nakedness, my harmony, and my naturalness, even if it may seem unpleasant, inappropriate, or amoral.
