Rito e celebrazione - Rite and celebration

La Natura stessa è il tempio degli Uomini e, reciprocamente, gli uomini sono a loro volta il tempio della Natura, e in questo senso contemplatore, contemplazione e tempio sono una cosa sola.

La frase sopra riportata è una mia personale trasposizione delle bellissime parole di Herny Corbin tratte dal suo libro L'immagine del tempio, che si adattano benissimo alla mia visione del naturismo e del mio personale rapporto con il paesaggio, i suoi elementi e le sue forze.

"Dio stesso è il tempio dei credenti e, reciprocamente, i credenti sono a loro volta il tempio di Dio. Essere Uomo-Tempio significa essere noi stessi spazio di contemplazione, cioè spazio consacrato. E' qui, nell'uomo-tempio, che si manifesta l'Imago Templi, perchè nell'uomo-tempio essa è lo specchio che riflette l'Imago Animae, e in questo senso contemplatore, contemplazione e tempio sono una cosa sola."

Spogliarsi è un rito

E' come un battesimo, è una liberazione, un abbandonare un certo concetto di vita e di mondo, è un immergersi in un'altra dimensione, un mondo parallelo. L'atto dello spogliarsi è paragonabile all'attraversamento di un portale dimensionale, un cambio di paradigma, come scendere o salire ad un altro livello di vita, dove si perdono i contatti con questo mondo "civile". 

Restare nudi è una celebrazione

Entrati in questa dimensione, rendiamo omaggio a tutto quanto ci circonda, e a noi stessi, come manifestazione sacra e preziosa dell'energia vitale primordiale, come mero strumento nelle mani di un disegno superiore, di cui probabilmente ne ignoriamo la trama, ma di cui ci sentiamo partecipi e ne portiamo il messaggio attraverso la manifestazione della propria volontà di libertà. Attraverso questa manifestazione, ci rendiamo parte attiva e celebrativa di questa creazione, di questo disegno, e consacriamo il nostro patto di alleanza con questa forza arcaica e primordiale, linfa vitale del mondo e della natura, intesa come manifestazione del Cosmo intero e delle sue leggi non scritte da mani umane. 

Essere una cosa sola è una conquista

Essere in armonia, in pace, in simbiosi, dimenticare i ruoli e le identità, in un certo senso dimenticare noi stessi, essere senza giudicare ne essere giudicati, liberarsi anche dall'ossessione di giudicare noi stessi, perchè spesso siamo noi i peggiori nemici di noi stessi, questa è la più grande conquista di libertà, questa è l'essenza, la vera libertà. Perdersi nella bellezza che ci circonda, nella bellezza delle cose semplici, come un sasso, un riflesso sull'acqua, il colore del cielo od il fruscio del vento tra i cespugli.

Nature itself is the temple of Men and, reciprocally, men are in turn the temple of Nature, and in this sense contemplator, contemplation and temple are one and the same thing.

The above quote is my personal translation of Henry Corbin's beautiful words from his book The Image of the Temple, which perfectly fit my vision of naturism and my personal relationship with the landscape, its elements, and its forces.

"God himself is the temple of believers, and, reciprocally, believers are in turn the temple of God. Being a Temple-Man means being ourselves a space of contemplation, that is, a consecrated space. It is here, in the Temple-Man, that the Imago Templi manifests itself, because in the Temple-Man it is the mirror that reflects the Imago Animae, and in this sense, contemplator, contemplation, and temple are one."

Undressing is a ritual

It's like a baptism, a liberation, an abandonment of a certain concept of life and the world, an immersion in another dimension, a parallel world. The act of stripping is comparable to crossing a dimensional portal, a paradigm shift, like descending or ascending to another level of life, where one loses contact with this "civilized" world.

To remain naked is a celebration

Having entered this dimension, we pay homage to everything around us, and to ourselves, as a sacred and precious manifestation of primordial life energy, as a mere instrument in the hands of a higher plan, the very fabric of which we are likely unaware, but whose meaning we feel part of and whose message we convey through the manifestation of our own desire for freedom. Through this manifestation, we become an active and celebratory part of this creation, this plan, and we consecrate our pact of alliance with this archaic and primordial force, the lifeblood of the world and nature, understood as the manifestation of the entire Cosmos and its laws not written by human hands.

To be one is an achievement

To be in harmony, at peace, in symbiosis, to forget roles and identities, in a certain sense to forget ourselves, to be without judging or being judged, to free ourselves even from the obsession of judging ourselves, because we are often our own worst enemies, this is the greatest achievement of freedom, this is the essence, true freedom. To lose ourselves in the beauty that surrounds us, in the beauty of simple things, like a stone, a reflection on the water, the color of the sky, or the rustle of the wind through the bushes.
